Bridge to Bridge Trail

This is a new trail begun in the spring of 2002. It starts about 4 km west of Schumacher at the Mattagami Park on the north side of Riverside Drive just west of the Mattagami Bridge. The trail follows the Mattagami River to the Lafleur Bridge on the west side and returns to Mattagami park on the east side of the river. Work is going on at the present time to complete the trail. Exotic wildlife, such as elk, can be seen in fenced-off paddocks at Cedar Meadows Resort on Norman Street.
