Porcupine Ski Runners

The Porcupine Ski Runners Cross Country Ski Club will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2003. It is located just east of Schumacher and is easily accessible from highway 101. It has one of the longest seasons for skiing in Ontario from December to March and sometime even into April.

There are 30 km of groomed and tracked trails with a heated chalet open seven days a week. The club has produced nationally ranked skiers as well as international competitors. An addition this year is three kilometres of lighted trails. Over 1000 members enjoy this premier cross-country club.
